C-35 Additive Change Order 7 for Plantation Oaks Elementary School
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Once a Change Order is initiated, review/evaluation is undertaken to determine the merit and/or requirement of the Change Order. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. Change Orders affect the scope of the project (see attached summary) and are required to be School Board approved by State Requirements for Educational Facilities and Florida Statutes. Contractor: Elkins Constructors, Inc.; Architect: McCullar & Boatright Architects, P.A.
Approve the Change Order.
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $51,019.00. The substantial completion date is February 1, 2009. Architect fees will increase by $2,669.70 as a result of this Change Order.
