September 18, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #63 Item Title Ratify the 2008-2009 Contract Amendment between the Clay Educational Staff Professional Association, Local 7409, and the School District of Clay County Issue/Rationale Florida Statute requires the School Board to bargain collectively in the determination of the wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment for support personnel.   This Agreement must be signed and ratified by the public employer and the public employees of the bargaining unit. Recommended Action Ratify the Tentataive Agreement which includes an approximate 3% salary increase,  not including benefits. Financial Impact Approximately $1,168,003.00, salary and benefits, plus approximately $400,000. for additional health insurance premium contributions. Submitted By Toni A.
