Issue/Rationale
Piloting SIPPS Program into Title I schools to increase teacher knowledge and student performance in foundational skills. (Phonics and phonological awareness).

Recommended Action
Approve request for Purchase Order as submitted.

Financial Impact
No impact on general funds; the total cost for the six days of training will be $15,600.00 to be paid out of the 2014 - 2015 School Improvement Initiative 1003(a), federal grant.
