September 18, 2014 - Regular Meeting with Public Hearing on the Budget Agenda Item #7 Item Title Adopt the 2014-15 Basic Discretionary Operating Mill Levy Issue/Rationale In addition RLE, districts may choose to levy an additional non-voted property tax.  The Legislature establishes the maximum millage that each district may levy. Recommended Action Motion to adopt discretionary mill levy of 0.748 which is 2.54 percent more than the rolled-back rate. Financial Impact This levy will generate $6,866,481 to Fund 100.
