Issue Rationale for bid / RFP to be awarded as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.01 and School Board Policy 

a.  Chiller Maintenance and Repair County-Wide Bid #14-MA-305– Contract Period is September 19, 2013 through August 15, 2015 – Bid established for the purchase of quarterly and comprehensive annual maintenance service inspections at firm fixed pricing and shall obtain quotes from one or more of the award vendors in section 2 for routine maintenance and repair of chillers.  Vendor with lowest quote using their pricing from section 2 (hourly rates, parts multiplier, cost per chiller) shall be issued a purchase order, however, the School Board reserves the right to self-perform the work or issue purchase order without obtaining quotes if it is in the best interest of the School Board.  Eighteen (18) bids solicited plus listed on our web site for download and six (6) bids received.  The vendors awarded are the lowest most qualified responsive bidders.
