September 20, 2012 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #4 Item Title C-3 Settlement of Personal Injury Claim of Jazlyn Gustin Issue/Rationale On February 18, 2010, Jazlyn Gustin was the passenger in a motor vehicle which was struck by a school bus owned by the School Board of Clay County and which was being drive by an employee of the school board.  As a result she suffered injuries which required extensive medical treatment.  medical bills exceeded $15,000.  Settlement was reached at mediation by consensus between Board Chairman Carol Studdard, Dr. George Copeland and Bruce Bickner.  Total settlement for all claims is $10,000.00.
