April 2, 2020 - Regular School Board Meeting
C8 - Approve a contract with Frontline Education for a software program for Proactive Recruiting, to be utilized by Human Resources to reach more prospective employees, thereby increasing the hiring pool of qualified instructional personnel.

The Human Relations Department of the School District is seeking tools to assist in locating, attracting, vetting and hiring qualified employees to fill current and future positions. Frontline Education offers a software program that offers integrated solutions to locating, attracting and ultimately hiring qualified personnel. Through access to a large database of active and latent job seekers, two-way recruitment in applicant fields which suffer from shortages, provision of specific keys to recruiting target subgroups of prospective employees, harnessing proactive recruiting techniques which provide opportunities to engage passive as well as active job seekers, cross-posting of available positions to additional job boards and modernizing recruitment to expand the visibility of the School District employment opportunities to the public, it is expected that the School District will be more able to cultivate a pool of interested and employable job prospects, thereby decreasing the shortage of employees which the District is currently experiencing.

It is expected that the use of this program will enhance the capability of the Human Relations department in locating, attracting, vetting and hiring qualified applicants to fill vacancies, thereby increasing the efficiency and productivity of the district as a whole.
