| Description Florida Statutes 1012.22 and 1012.27 require the district school board and superintendent to adopt a salary schedule to be used as a basis for paying school district employees. The Professional Managerial Class Salary Placement Schedule is a distinct, performance-based compensation plan established for the new salaried and non-bargained employees in Clay County District Schools (CCDS). This classification of employees can evaluate employees as designated by a responsible administrator. This schedule is designed to be market-competitive to recruit and retain specialized talent for technical, professional, and operational management roles crucial to the District's success (e.g., IT, finance, facilities). Compensation is not subject to collective bargaining and focuses on achieving organizational goals, individual expertise, and measurable performance outcomes. The structure emphasizes flexibility in assigning salary levels, directly linking pay to high levels of accountability and managerial effectiveness.
