CCUA requests three (3) additional temporary easements (see exhibit A) at Tynes Elementary School to install new piping to connect the School’s Fire Main System to CCUA’s water service near Tynes Boulevard.  Also to remove existing tanks and pipes near the existing well.  The Temporary Grants of easement will expire December 31, 2020.

Approval of the Temporary Grants of Easements will allow CCUA to effectively improve and facilitate new Fire Main connections with existing water service.  Allows removal of existing water tank and associated piping.

Per staff recommendations, the Board has approved previous CCUA’s Grants and Temporary Grants of Easement at various locations throughout the school district.

Based on previous decisions, consent to approve CCUA’s Temporary Grants of Easement is expected at Tynes Elementary school.

Ensure effective management of the organization, operations, and facilities to maximize the use of resources and promote a safe, efficient and effective learning environment for Clay County students.
