Adopt the 2016-17 Required Local Effort Mill Levy
The District's Required Local Effort (RLE) is based on the gross calculation of Florida Education Program (FEFP) dollars. Millage rates are also adjusted because required local effort may not exceed 90 percent of a district's total FEFP entitlement. In order to receive state funding, school districts must levy the local property tax millage set by the Legislature.
Motion to adopt the required local effort mill levy of 4.514 mills which is -4.25 percent less than the rolled-back rate.

Revenue to the District from the required local effort mill levy is in the amount of $45,412,465 in Fund 100.
