Title C18 - BID to be Awarded | ||
Description Award BID as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.012 and School Board Policy a. Milk Products - County Wide Bid #23-SFS-12: Bid established for the purchase of milk products for all School Board food service facilities. Contract Period is for a one (1) year period from August 1, 2023 through July 31, 2024 with the option to renew for three additional one (1) year contract periods upon mutual agreement, in writing. The vendor awarded is the lowest, most responsive and responsible qualified bidder meeting specifications. b. Chiller Services – County Wide Bid #23-MA-326: Contract Period is for a three (3) year period from September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2026 with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year contract periods upon mutual agreement, in writing. Bid established for the purchase of qualified labor, equipment and supervision to perform Chiller inspections, maintenance and service at School Board facilities. The vendors awarded are the lowest, most responsive and responsible qualified bidder meeting specifications. | ||
Gap Analysis The District requires contractors to provide services to ensure our facilities and equipment are maintained and functional. The District requires vendors to provide products to ensure our students and staff receive the items to meet their needs. | ||
Previous Outcomes Prior Board approved Bid will expire but it was used successfully during the past terms to provide quality services and products to the district. | ||
Expected Outcomes Upon approval by the Board, we expect the vendor to provide quality services and products at the terms and conditions listed in the Bid.

Financial Impact a. Milk Products - County Wide Bid #23-SFS-12: The total estimated expenditure for the initial 1 year contract term is $1,000,000.00 from Federal Revenue. b. Chiller Services – County Wide Bid #23-MA-326: The total estimated expenditure for the three (3) year contract is $540,000. Estimated annual spend of $180,000 for 2023-24, $180,000 for 2024-25, and $180,000 for 2025-26 from General and Capital Revenue. | ||
