The District Calendar Committee, which is comprised of members who represent all major operations of the school district, elementary and secondary school principals, parents,  Clay County Education Association (CCEA) and Clay Educational Staff Professional Association (CESPA), revised a student calendar for the 2021-2022 school year and developled a proposed calendar for the 2022-2023 school year. 

The revisions in the previously board approved student calendar for 2021-2022 were due to two typos in the first nine weeks. The planning day was incorrectly typed as 10/8 and not 10/18 as it should have been. Additionally, the last day of the first nine weeks was written as Thursday, 10/15 where it should have been written as Friday, 10/15. Another change was to three dates for elementary early release days. The three date changes are as followed: 9/10 to 9/15, 2/18 to 2/16, and 4/29 to 4/27.
