C22 - Clay County Utility Authority Developer Agreement for the Fire Main Connection at Ridgeview Elementary School
Description

To comply with fire code, two new fire hydrants must be installed at Ridgeview Elementary School. This installation requires the extension of a new fire water main. Consequently, a Development Agreement with Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) is needed to authorize the connection of the new fire main.

Gap Analysis

No action will prevent the CCUA from providing the necessary fire main connection. This, in turn, will prevent the installation of the new fire hydrants and maintain the school's non-compliance with fire code.

Previous Outcomes

The School Board has approved similar Clay County Utility Authority Developer Agreements in the past.

Expected Outcomes

It is expected the School Board will approve this Clay County Utility Authority Developer Agreement for the fire main connection.
