C6 - Amendment to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) Agreement with the School Board of Clay County
This is an amendment to the original contract. The contract is for a three-year period (2017-2020) which involves dual enrollment/CTE courses offered by this institution at some of our high schools. The purpose of the amendment is in regard to a decrease in costs ($25,530 to $25,316) due to a decrease in CAPE certificates.
This program has been a beneficial program to the District as it provides Dual Enrollment to our students.
This positive working relationship with ERAU benefits the students of Clay County by allowing them to earn both college credits and high school credits. These particular courses allow students to move towards a degree and industry certificates.
Clay students will continue to provide college-level courses on the high school sites. It is expected that the total number of students in this program will increase from the current year to the next school year.
