Title D2 - Health Insurance One Time Premium Holiday from United Healthcare | ||
Description This is a one-time premium holiday that was awarded by United Healthcare during the February 2016 RFP process. United Healthcare requested the premium holiday to be utilized after January 1, 2017. All CCSD employees enrolled in one of the United Healthcare products offered by CCSD would not have a deduction for either pay period (1/13/17 & 1/31/17) during the month of January. An example is listed below to illustrate the savings of an employee that is enrolled in the United Healthcare Choice Plus plan: Single coverage $83.66 x 2=$167.32 Employee + Spouse coverage $402.62 x 2+$805.24 Employee + Child(ren) coverage $372.18 x 2=$744.36 Family coverage $607.85 x 2= $1215.70 Employee + Spouse (both employed) coverage $144.13 x 2=$288.26 Family (both employed) coverage $349.36 x 2=$698.72 The employee's savings will be based on what United Healthcare plan and tier the employee is enrolled in during the month of January 2017. The District will have a one-time credit of approximately $1,221,311.00. | ||
