With the resignation of our current School Board Attorney, the Clay County School District will be left without legal counsel effective mid-December. This contract will provide the district with a reduction in costs for the legal department while ensuring a continuation of services.

This item, which has a total financial impact of $144,000, represents a significant cost savings of more than $20,000 when compared to the current cost for our legal department.
