Spot Educational Plant Survey recommendations must be approved by the School Board and are reviewed for acceptance by the Department of Education.  Survey recommendations must exist to ensure that the funding budgeted for specific projects are eligible for expenditures.  This update of the Plant Survey is needed to ensure the Plant Survey includes all projects and expenditures included in the District’s Educational Facilities Plan.  The two (2) projects listed in the Spot Survey, Number 6, Version 3;  Renovation of Building 2 of the Clay Superintendent’s Office and Renovation of Building 1 of the Support Services Center, were not included in the Plant Survey, but were included in the board approved Educational Facilities Plan.  This action reconciles both documents.
