Title
C20 - Schematic/Preliminary (Phase I and Phase II) Plans and Specifications for the AICE Testing Facility at Fleming Island High School
Description

Each phase or combination of phases is submitted to the School Board for review and approval.  The plans have received staff review and are complete to Schematic/Preliminary (Phase I and III) stage.

Gap Analysis

Individual departments review plans and specification for the AICE Testing Facility at Fleming Island High School.  This phase allows for greater scope definition, resource analysis, and milestones and deadline determination for the final plans and specifications.  The primary participants in this phase are current administration of the school after which the plans are modeled, facilities, maintenance, instruction, property control and information services.

Previous Outcomes

Individual departments have the opportunity to express concerns during plan review in order to design an elementary school that will meet user’s expectations.

Expected Outcomes

Schematic and Preliminary Plan review allows for participation from a variety of departments to ensure any program changes are incorporated into the design.

Strategic Plan Goal

Ensure effective management of the organization, operations and facilities to maximize the use of resources and promote a safe, efficient and effective learning environment for Clay County students.  SDCC educational facilities should provide top tier facilities that afford teachers and students the ability to reach their highest potential.

Recommendation
