Title
C24 - Resolution to dispose of Relocatable Building at Fleming Island Elementary School.
Description

On the evening of January 7, 2018 fire broke out at Fleming Island Elementary School in relocatable building 92 room 841.  Clay County Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.  CCDS Director of Code Enforcement has completed an assessment and has determined the structure’s damage and repair is beyond 50% of the buildings value and therefore warrants removal.  In accordance with Florida Statue F.S.1013.28; disposal of school board property requires approval of the Local School Board by Resolution.  The Operations Division agrees and also determines it is not cost effective to repair the structure and requests resolution approval to raze and remove relocatable building 92 room 841 from the premises of Fleming Island Elementary School.
