| Title C19 - Enterprise Fleet Management Contract Award | ||
| Description The Operations department is requesting Board approval for the District to enter into a lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management, to defer the cost of purchasing fleet vehicles requiring replacements. This agreement would transition the district from purchasing district fleet vehicles to leasing vehicles to ensure all district fleet vehicles meet safety requirements for day-to-day operation by district employees. In addition, leased vehicles will remain under the manufacturer warranty and Enterprise Fleet will monitor mileage, age, and trade value to assist the district in determining when vehicles should be replaced. | ||
| Gap Analysis By partnering with Enterprise Fleet Management, the District will transition from its current owned, buy-and-hold approach to a more adaptable program with a shorter replacement cycle. This shift will enable the District to reduce the age of its white fleet, resulting in newer and safer vehicles, all while remaining within or below current budget estimates. | ||
