Minutes:

Chairman Kerekes began by explaining the order of proceedings:

  • Candidate will be given 5 minutes to introduce himself
  • Board members will alternately ask the FSBA questions
  • Board members will then ask additional questions they may have
  • Candidate will be allowed to ask of the Board any questions he may have

First Candidate - Bruce Bickner

Second Candidate:  Ray Poole

Following the interviews, Mrs. Gilhousen suggested the Board use the same scoring method used by the Board of County Commissioners in their recent attorney interview process.  Board members were agreeable.  They will email Mr. Broskie by Wednesday (Feb 1st)  ranking their preferences 1-4.  The candidate with the lowest tallied score will be the most favored first choice.   Mr. Broskie will distribute to the full Board all of the candidate tallies without Board member names.  Consensus was that discussion at the February 2, 2017, Regular board meeting include candidates' strong points only, and no negative comments about any candidate.
