The attached 2017 -2018 Instructional Evaluation System Template was created through collaboration with Human Resources, Instructional Division, Technology Services and Clay County Education Association through the Clay Assessment Committee.  This document contains revisions to assessments while maintaining compliance with legislative evaluation mandates.  Assessment revisions are those tied to instructional courses and used for student performance measures (33.333%) of a teacher’s final evaluation.

The 2016-2017 Instructional Evaluation System Template was collaboratively created by Human Resources, Instructional Division, Technology Services and Clay County Education Association through the Clay Assessment Committee.  This Template was approved by Florida Department of Education. 

Collaborative efforts were successful to improve upon the first instructional evaluation system applying student performance measures. Assessments tied to courses are the most direct and fair assessments which can be used for student performance measures.  Through district and union collaboration, the district applied means to measure student performance measures while maintaining legislative compliance.  Florida Department of Education approved the revised 2017-2018 Evaluation System Template on November 17, 2017.
