D4 - School Security Plan for 2019-2020 School Year (Item submitted by Mrs. Kerekes)
With the 2019-2020 school year quickly approaching, School Board Member Janice Kerekes is requesting that the Board review all viable options for the 2019-2020 School Security Plan. Specifically, the Board should review all options currently being used by other school districts across the State of Florida, as well as the current plan through partnership with the Clay County Sheriff's Office, to ensure district compliance with Florida's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act and all applicable state statutes. Board Member Kerekes is requesting the Superintendent call a workshop to present information regarding all options for the 2019-2020 School Security Plan.
