Title C12 - Approve An Interlocal Agreement Between Clay County First Responder Agencies Regarding 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) | ||
Description Pursuant to Florida Statute 365.179, the Sheriff of each county is required to facilitate an agreement between all first responders in his county which agencies provide emergency services pursuant to the 911 system. An agreement is required which develops and implements communication systems that allow direct radio communication between public safety answering points and first responders outside the first PSAP’s normal service area to provide for more efficient dispatch of first responders in emergencies. | ||
