C45 - Resolution 17-01 to Dispose of Relocatable Buildings at the Maintenance Annex
Disposal of School Board owned property requires approval of the School Board by Resolution as defined in F. S. 1013.28. It is recommended that these structures be demolished to eliminate any potential liability with the structures. The buildings do not meet current requirements for a classroom, were taken out of service and since have been used as storage buildings. The Facility Planning & Construction Department has determined it is not cost effective to renovate these buildings.
Approve the Resolution to dispose of relocatable buildings 95, Room 4, 5 and 6 at the Maintenance Annex in Green Cove Springs.

The cost to raze the buildings and remove the debris is estimated not to exceed $20,000.00.
