Following the review of the Tentative Budget and Millages, the School Board will be asked to approve the Advertisement for the 2025-26 Budget Summary, the Notice of Tax for School Capital Outlay, and the Notice of Proposed Tax Increase.

Prior Advertisements, Tentative Budget and proposed levies have been approved and executed in accordance with Florida Statutes.

Approval of the required advertisements to be published as required by the Florida Statute.

The District ensures fiscal responsibility and equitable distribution of resources.

A.  That the Clay County School Board accept the advertisement for the proposed 2025-2026  tentative budget and proposed levies as follows: 

B.  That the Clay County School Board authorize the publication of legal notices and advertisement of a public hearing to be held on July 29, 2025, at 5:05 p.m. on the proposed millage rates and the tentative budget in accordance with Sections 200.065 (2),(3),(10), 1011.71, 1011.03 Florida Statutes.  The notices and advertisements will appear in The Clay Today on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
