Title Adopt Tentative 2025/2026 – 2029/2030 Educational Facilities Plan | ||
Description The Tentative Educational Facilities Plan (EFP) is developed and reviewed by District staff and approved by the School Board each fiscal year. The plan establishes a systematic approach to Educational Facility Construction and Planning in order to meet the needs of the district. The Educational Facilities Plan must also include a finally feasible district facilities work program for a five year period. | ||
Gap Analysis The Tentative Educational Facilities Plan (EFP) is amended annually based on district facilities needs and funding availability. The Operations Division met to conduct current project reviews, determine needs assessment, and to identify project priorities that best reflect the needs of the district in light of limited funding. | ||
Previous Outcomes The Tentative Educational Facilities plan is an annual requirement per Florida Statutes 1013.35. | ||
Expected Outcomes Meet the state requirement by submitting the Tentative Educational Facilities Plan outlining project priorities. | ||
Strategic Plan Goal Ensure fiscal responsibility through the effective management of district operations in an effort to maximize available resources necessary to provide an environment that is safe, efficient, and conducive to learning. | ||
Recommendation Review the Tentative Educational Facilities Plan. | ||
