Description After consideration of the latest rulings by the Appellate courts on the matter of gender-specific restroom use, the School Board has proposed a Policy, the effect of which would be to limit the use of restrooms, locker rooms, and dressing rooms (accommodations) which are designated for use by a particular biological sex/gender, to use by those who are of the biological sex matching the biological sex designated for each specific accommodation. Pursuant to the Policy, biological sex” is defined as “the sex assigned to a particular student at birth”. The Policy allows reasonable alternatives for those who request such consideration for any reason. | ||
