C24 - Bid Renewals
Issue Rationale for renewals as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.012 and School Board Policy
a. Refuse Collection County-Wide Bid #14-BA-118: Contract Period is August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2020. This is the final renewal.
b. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Services County-Wide: Contract Period is July 18, 2017 through July 18, 2018. This is the final renewal.
c. Chiller Maintenance & Repair County-Wide Bid #14-MA-305: Contract Period is August 31, 2017 through August 31, 2018. This is the final renewal.
d. Telecommunication Infrastructure Installation County-Wide Bid #13-MI-84: Contract Period is October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. This is the final renewal.
The District requires contractors and vendors to provide services to insure our facilities and equipment are maintained and functional.
Original Bids were Board approved and have been used successfully during the past term to provide quality services to the district.
Upon approval by the Board; we expect the contractors and vendors to continue providing quality services at the same terms and conditions as when the original Bids were awarded.
The district ensures fiscal responsibility & equitable distribution of resources.
