| Title C13 - Approve the 2026-27 District's Property and Casualty insurance renewal submitted by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (broker) | ||
| Description Annual renewal of the District's Property and Casualty insurance policies. | ||
| Gap Analysis On an annual basis the District's broker, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., comprehensively analyzes the District's current Property and Casualty insurance policies by obtaining quotes based on current insurance trends and needs for the next fiscal year. The goal is to obtain a comprehensive and cost-effective risk management program within the District's current budget constraints. As in the past, the policies include renewal for Property, General Liability, Auto Liability, School Leaders, Employment Practices Liability, Workers' Compensation, Crime, Cyber Risk, Boiler & Machinery, Storage Tank Liability, and Active Assailant Liability. The cost of the 2026-27 renewal is $2,096,472 which is an estimated decrease of $50,538 or -2.35 percent from the 2025-26 Property and Casualty insurance policies totaling $2,147,010. As the competiitive quote process will continue through June 30 and the market conditions could provide better quotes, the District's cost savings could potentially be greater that the estimated $50,538.
