D6 - Public Hearing to approve, as advertised, proposed amendments to School Board Policies 1.01 The District School System; 1.02 The District School Board; 1.03 The Superintendent of Schools; and 1.04 The District Administrative and Supervisory Staff
School Board Policies outline rules and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the school district. Through a series of workshops, the School Board and Superintendent have developed proposed changes to 1.01 The District School System, 1.02 The District School Board, 1.03 The Superintendent of Schools, and 1.04 The District Administrative and Supervisory Staff. The Board intends to adopt the proposed revisions following a public hearing to take place on June 7, 2018.
All Board Policies are reviewed periodically to ensure they are up to date and compliant with current applicable laws and regulations.
The Board policies have been reviewed and/or revised in the past.
The proposed amendments to Board policies will be adopted by the Board and implemented appropriately.
Approve the amendments to Board policies.
