Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval.  The change order will add tax savings previously earned back to the contract to offset funding required to cover items approved in Change Order #3.

The tax savings was deducted from the contract in Change Order #2 and again in Change Order #3.  This action adjusts the contract amount to accurately reflect the amount of tax savings generated and used to date.

Any owner request not included in the approved construction documents are added or changed in order to provide a safe and functional environment for stakeholders.
