DESCRIPTION:  

This report shows in dollars by location, the value of all Furniture/Equipment (valued $750.00 and over), owned by The School Board of Clay County.  Examples of Property are:  Classroom/Office Furniture, Computers, Laptops, Lateral File Cabinets, Lawn Mowers, Sewing Machines, Microscopes, Refrigerators, Power Tools, and similar items which have a useful life of more than 1 (one) year.

Property Records followed State mandate on trackable assets, Chapter 274.03.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES: 

Property Records shall be prepared and maintained in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 274, 274.03 and the Rules of the Department of Financial Services, Division of Accounting and Auditing - School Board Policy Section 5.03C.

STRATEGIC PLAN GOAL:  

Stay concurrent with Florida Statute 274 and riles of the office of the State Auditor General.
