CHS- FBLA, March 25, 2017, Universal Studios Educational Tour, Orlando, FL

CHS, KHHS, MHS, OHS- FFA, March 7-8, 2017, Emerging Ag Leaders, Tallahassee, FL

KHHS, MHS- Culinary, March 3-4, 2017, Prostart Competition, Orlando, FL

Recommendation

Recommend to approve CTE Overnight/In State Field trips as presented.   

MHS-FFA, April 10-12, 2017, State Officer Screening, Haines City, FL

  • FFA members must attend the State FFA Officer screen to run for a State FFA Officer leadership position.  This it is 2-day process in South Florida that requires an overnight stay.

MHS-FFA, April 28-29, 2017, State Finals, Haines City, FL

  • MHS FFA member won district tractor driving competition and will compete in South Florida at the state finals.  

CHS-FBLA, March 25, 2017, Universal Studios Educational Tour, Orlando, FL

  • Qualifying FBLA members attend the State FBLA Leadership Conference and Competition.  During the week, CHS FBLA members will attend education workshops at Universal Studios.

CHS, KHHS, MHS, OHS-FFA, March 7-8, 2017, Emerging Ag Leaders, Tallahassee, FL

  • FFA members in the Emerging Ag Leaders Academy will visit the State Capitol to learn about policy, government, leadership, and citizenship.  Students will visit with state legistlators and agriculture industry leaders.  

KHHS, MHS-Culinary, March 3-4, 2017, Prostart Competition, Orlando, FL 

  • Students form MHS and KHHS will travel to Orlando to compete in the annual ProStart Competition to showcase knowledge of gourmet meal planning, edible centerpieces, hospitality skills, and business planning.
