Discuss and determine direction for amendment/re-write of the School District purchasing policy.
Description

The District purchasing policy is unclear and in need of amendment or revision. In order to re-write the policy (5.02 A) the Board, Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent of Purchasing, Supervisor of Purchasing and the School Board Attorney need to explore, among other things, issues concerning the general purchasing guidelines; contract review, approval and execution; processes of purchasing and other matters in order to guide the Supervisor of purchasing and the Board Attorney in drafting a thorough and comprehensive new policy.
