C5 - Complete Salary Schedule 2017-2018
Description

Florida Statutes 1012.22 and 1012.27 require the district school board and superintendent to adopt a salary schedule to be used as a basis for paying school district employees.

 

Agreements with both CCEA and CESPA have been ratified by all parties.   The attached document represents those agreements along with the Administrative/Management/Supervisory/Confidential Section, Miscellaneous, and Travel to complete the Salary Schedule for 2017-2018.  The document is routinely updated as changes occur.

Gap Analysis

Annual approval of Salary Schedules are required pursuant to section F.S. 1011.60(4).

Previous Outcomes

Collective Bargaining agreement with CESPA was ratified on February 1, 2018.  The CCEA agreement was ratified on February 1, 2018.

Expected Outcomes

Approval of the 2017-2018 Salary Schedule as presented.

Ensure the retention of effective employees.

Financial Impact
Section I: Change in Table X which reflects a step increase to confidential employees’ salaries mirrored by CESPA step-pay increase. Update of current titles. Section II: See Certificated (CCEA) – Financial increase of $2,800,000.00. Section III: See Support (CESPA) – Financial increase of approximately $1,800,000.00. Section IV: Miscellaneous Salaries: Minimum Wage increase .05 cents an hour on January 1, 2018. Section V: Update of current titles. No change was recorded to administrative pay.
