Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval.  This additive change order is for Owner Requested items (see attached summary).  Contingency funds and Direct Purchase Tax savings will be used to cover the majority of the change order.  The remaining funds are available in funds budgeted for this project.

The additive changes are for Owner Requested changes associated with safety and security, program changes, and end user input since approval of the GMP.

Any owner request not included in the approved construction documents are added or changed in order to provide a safe and functional environment for stakeholders.
