Title C27 - Resolution and Purchase Agreement for Keystone Heights Elementary School (KHE). | ||
Description Per Real Property purchase, sale agreement and land description set forth in the attachment and Exhibit “A”. CCDS is seeking to purchase approximately .71 acres of St. William Catholic Church’s grounds parcel: 19-08-23-022275-000-00, for KHE improvement, in the amount of $30,000.00, to include boundary survey and other considerations. This portion of the parcel is adjacent to KHE’s parking lot and is desired for planned expansion required for improved safety and traffic flow. | ||
Gap Analysis Not applicable: there are no analytics between the target and anticipated results. | ||
Previous Outcomes The Board has approved previous purchase considerations of property for future use: (22 acres at Two Creeks - 2017). | ||
Expected Outcomes Based on previous decisions, expectation: The Board will adopt the resolution allowing staff to move forward with the real-property purchase from the Diocese of St. Augustine. | ||
Strategic Plan Goal Purchase real-property for parking and parent pick-up/drop-off expansion project to benefit KHE’s safety and traffic flow. | ||
Recommendation Approve the Resolution to grant authority to purchase a portion of St. William Catholic Church real property through real-estate conveyance to the Diocese of St. Augustine, for the sum of $30,000 and cost of boundary survey. | ||

Financial Impact $30,000 to School Board for sale of real property, cost of boundary survey $500.00 and $8,000 for installation of fence to secure perimeter of expanded property. For a total of $38,500.00. Funds will be paid out of the 2017/18 LCIF Funds. | ||
