C26 - AICE Testing Facility at Fleming Island High School Construction Manager Contract Award
The process to appoint a Construction Manager At-Risk is in accordance with the State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF), Florida Statutes and Board Policy.
With Construction Manger At-Risk, the district benefits by having the contractor available during the design process to validate cost estimates and value engineer design details, which in turn streamline the construction schedule.
The district limits the risk of cost overruns beyond a guaranteed maximum price (GMP).
Delivering the best possible quality in the finished product.
