Title C9 - Proclamation #24-06 to Establish School Psychologist Week November 6-10, 2023
Description November 6-10,2023 is National School Psychology Week (NSPW). School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students’ ability to learn and teachers’ ability to teach. . School psychologists partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help children and youth succeed socially, behaviorally, emotionally, and academically, through the identification of appropriate, evidence-based educational, mental health, and behavioral health services for all children, youth, and families. This year’s NSPW theme is "Together We Grow." We want to recognize the contributions of school psychologists in supporting the academic success of our students.
