Recognition of S.Bryan Jennings Elementary for consideration as a 2026 Exceeding Expectations "Award School"
Description

The East Coast Technical Assistance Center (ECTAC) is a non-profit Florida network that provides training, advocacy, and professional networking opportunities in support of the development and implementation of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) programs, like Title I, Part A, for our sixty-member school districts across the state of Florida. 

The initial Exceeding Expectations eligible schools were identified based on publicly available 2025 School Grade, Federal Index, Lunch Status Report, and Enrollment data from FDOE.

The 2026 Exceeding Expectations Eligible Award School Criteria includes:

  1. Above 2025 State Poverty Average/Free-Reduced Priced Lunch of 68.8%
  2. 2025 School Grade of “A” or “B”
  3. No ESSA findings (No TSI, ATSI, or CSI designations)
  4. Academic Achievement Performance in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies (as applicable by grade level) ~ Statewide Percentile Ranking greater than 50% of schools with data
  5. Learning Gains Performance in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies (as applicable by grade level) ~ Statewide Percentile Ranking greater than 50% of schools with data
  6. Improved Academic Achievement year-over-year (2024 to 2025)
  • Elementary – Improvement in Reading, Math, and Science
  • Secondary and Combination – Improvement in Total Points
  1. Enrollment >50 at each tested grade level
