With no further nominations, the floor was closed for Chair and a verbal vote was taken on the first nomination.

A verbal vote was taken on the second nomination.

Voting Aye for Carol Studdard: Mary Bolla, Ashley Gilhousen, Carol Studdard

Carol Studdard was elected Chair by a majority 3-0 vote.

Janice Kerekes nominated Tina Bullock.

Ashley Gilhousen nominated Mary Bolla.

With no further nominations, the floor was closed for Vice Chair and a verbal vote was taken on the first nomination.

Voting Aye for Tina Bullock:  Janice Kerekes, Tina Bullock.

A verbal vote was taken on the second nomination.

Voting Aye for Mary Bolla: Carol Studdard, Ashley Gilhousen, Mary Bolla.

Mary Bolla was elected Vice Chair by a majority 3-0 vote.

Superintendent Davis presented Carol Studdard with a plaque for serving as Board Chair for the 2018-2019 year.

With the Organization of the Board complete, newly re-elected Chair Studdard presided over the remainder of the meeting.

Ashley Gilhousen made a motion, seconded by Janice Kerekes to approve the Superintendent's recommendation:

That the Board establish dates and times for Regular School Board meetings as the first Thursday of each month with the exceptions of the January meeting being held on Thursday, January 9, 2020, and the July meeting being held on Thursday, June 25, 2020. All meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Fleming Island High School in the Teacher Inservice Center.
