Description

The Shadowlawn Elementary School HVAC Repair/Replacement project was listed and approved by the School Board as part of the 2024/25 Educational Facilities Plan (EFP). The district will be utilizing the DCPS RFP N 08/19 –TW –HVAC Maintenance Bid. Per School Board policy, contracts over $500,000.00 must be approved by the School Board of Clay County; therefore, this contract is being presented for approval.

Upon approval by the Board, we expect the awarded vendor to provide quality construction services as specified for the Shadowlawn Elementary School HVAC Repair/Replacement.

Ensure fiscal responsibility through the effective management of district operations in an effort to maximize available resources necessary to provide an environment that is safe, efficient, and conducive to learning.

Recommendation

Award the contract to Trane U.S., Inc. using the DCPS RFP N 08/19 –TW – HVAC Maintenance Bid in the amount of $736,750.00.
