The School Board of Clay County, Florida is seeking to retain professional Internal Auditing Services on an as-needed basis to comply with requirements of Chapter 1001.42(12)(l), Florida Statute. RSM may be requested to perform services including but not limited to, financial audits, performance audits, compliance audits, mitigating risk audits, facility audits, site safety and security audits, technology audits, operational and compliance audits of business/service departments, internal fund/accounts/activities of schools, forensic audits, compliance with educational regulations, consulting services special investigations, follow-up engagements and process reviews, as requested.

Identifying methods to increase effectiveness, improve processes, and reduce risk will close any susceptible gaps.

The internal audit function shall assist in achieving the goals and objectives of Clay County District Schools by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organization’s governance, risk management, and internal control.

Goal 5: Ensure fiscal responsibility through the effective management of district operations in an effort to maximize available resources necessary to provide an environment that is safe, efficient, and conducive to learning. Strategy 2: Promote fiscal transparency and communication.
