Title School Advisory Council (SAC) Membership Review |
Description
|
According to State Statute 1001.452, every school must establish an advisory council for each school in the district and shall develop procedures for the election and appointment of advisory council members. The district school board shall review the membership composition of each advisory council. School board policy 2125 also states that the Board shall review the membership composition of each advisory council. School advisory councils for school improvement and accountability will comply with procedures set forth in Florida statutes and State Board of Education rules.

These plans are necessary for school improvement efforts and all stakeholder involvement.

Previous Outcomes
|
School improvement plans, while only required to be approved by the district, have previously been reviewed and approved by the School Board. Now, we are reviewing the SAC membership for each school.
