This agreement is a renewal (Memorandum of Understanding) with Orange Park Medical Center.  Orange Park Medical Center has been a strong supporter of the Clay County schools for years.  This agreement, which includes a $26,000 contribution, helps fund a number of district-wide student programs.  In addition, Orange Park Medical Center will continue to offer field trips for several of the elementary schools.

This renewal will be the third year that Clay County and Orange Park Medical Center has partnered together.  The contribution that Orange Park Medical Center helps to financially support several programs that occur during the year.  It would be difficult to fund these programs and events without this support.

Specific programs will receive funds contributed by Orange Park Medical Center.  Some of those programs are: All-County Elementary Chorus Concert, the Elementary Track Meet, Math Field Day, the Rotary Science and Engineering Fair, the Clay County Art Show, STEM and Robotics Programs, and both "Teacher-of-the-Year and Support Related Employee-of-the-Year ceremonies.

This agreement furthers the school district's strategic plan goal of engaging our community and continuing to build and strengthen partnerships with community members.
