D1 - Consider proposed settlement of all claims brought by Plaintiff Robert Winter in Winter v. Clay County School Board, Case No. 2012-CA-001684, Fourth Judicial Circuit in and for Clay County, Florida
Plaintiff filed a complaint against the School Board of Clay County in the above-referenced action in 2012 (“Action”). The Action arose from a vehicular accident involving a school bus on or about August 28, 2008 in Clay County, Florida, which allegedly resulted in Plaintiff’s wrist and back injuries. Plaintiff seeks monetary damages for pain, suffering, medical expenses, and attorney’s fees. The case can be settled for $15,000.00.
The School Board Attorney and Special Counsel recommend approval subject to Plaintiff’s execution of the attached Release of All Claims.
