The Clay County District Schools Technology Plan is guided by the District Strategic Plan. The District has developed a five-year plan that addresses both current and future needs. The technology component of the Strategic Plan addresses technology integration, infrastructure, and personnel. The Plan is reviewed annually by the District Technology Team, presented to the Superintendent, and revised as necessary. 

In a continuing effort to assess the current state of technology for Clay County District Schools, Information and Technology Services personnel  use multiple sources of data to evaluate and guide their planning and decision-making. CCDS has contracted with consultants to conduct independent audits of technology covering areas from policies and procedures to hardware and environmental conditions. CCDS uses this data and guiding documents to align our planning to meet needs based on available resources and industry trends.
