Award BID as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.012 and School Board Policy

a.  Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Services – County Wide #24-MA-330:  Contract period is for a three (3) year period from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2027 with the option to renew for one (1) additional three (3) year contract period upon mutual agreement, in writing. Bid established for the purchase of grounds maintenance and landscaping services county wide. Bid stated the award shall be to the lowest, most responsive and responsible qualified bidder(s) meeting specifications and shall be based on the Grand Total of Each Lot in Section 1, for a total of three (3) possible different awardees. The District received (5) five bids with (1) bidder being the lowest for Section 1, Lots 1 and 2 while a different bidder was the lowest for Section 1, Lot 3. The lowest bidder for Section 1, Lot 3 has declined the recommendation of award based on only a single Lot award. The vendor awarded is the most responsive and responsible qualified bidder meeting specifications.    

The District requires contractors to provide services to ensure our ​​facilities and equipment are maintained and functional. The District requires vendors to provide products to ensure our students and staff receive the services, and or products to meet their needs.

Prior Board approved Bid will expire but it was used successfully during the past terms to provide quality services and products to the district.

Upon approval by the Board, we expect the vendor to provide quality services and products at the terms and conditions listed in the Bid.

Goal 5; Strategy 5.4; Enhance fiscal practices that enable the district to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
