Description Kagan trainers will provide the teachers with two full days of professional development sessioins, demonstrating multiple strategies to be used to increase student lesson participation, engagement and task completion in grades K-8. Phase 1 Training will include: training for teachers, training for administration, and Kagan classroom coaching.

Expected Outcomes The impact on students and teachers includes the overall classroom environment improvement through the use of Kagan strategies. Recommendation That the Clay County School Board approve the contract for Clay Charter Academy's professional development with Kagan Strategies. This agreement will not exceed $10,158.00. That the Clay County School Board authorize the Board Chairwoman, and in the event of her absence, the Vice Chairwoman and Superintendent to execute the contract contigent upon approval as to legal form an sufficiency by the School Board attorney. | ||
